Micromax’s New ‘Yu’ brand Smartphone To Launch This Dec. 2014

To surpass Xiaomi and Samsung in sales, Micromax going to launch it’s first ‘Yu’ brand device with Cyanogen operating system and 64-Bit Quad-core processor this Dec. 18th 2014 priced under Rs 10,000 which unveiled on Tuesday, 18th Nov. 2014.  It will take on Xiaomi, Samsung, Xolo and Intex in budget smartphone market. IMG_3635

Yu Televentures, will be a smartphone with operating system from US-based Cyanogen with customised user experience to end-users. Cyanogen operating system is built on Android platform a popular alternative OS and is installed on over 12 million devices worldwide promising innovative software which allows you yo revolutionize your  performance, customisation, security and privacy.  How ever the pricing and specifications of this smartphone not announced yet but get sure it will be a affordable smartphone.

During the press release, Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma said. This will be a game changer not just in India but globally too. Yu has been envisioned for building an ecosystem of connected devices and offer customised experience to users,” also added that This new Device will be  affordable and innovative for the users to enhance multi-tasking.

Micromax launching its first Cyanogen OS device under their new YU brand.” According to rumours, It will support Dual- SIM with Dual-Mode(GSM+WCDMA) offers connectivity through 4G LTE,  3G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and GPS comes with a bigger 5.5-inch full-HD LCD display with resolution  (720×1280 pixels) powered by 64-Bit Quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory  and 64GB expandable memory run on US-based Cyanogen OS  will combine a 13-MP Primary rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-MP front facing camera for video calling  packed with a powerful 3100mAh Li-ion battery.
