Xiaomi recently launched Xiaomi Mi5(Rs 24,999) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3( Rs 9,999 to Rs 11,999) in India and created history in sales. Now Xiaomi Mi5s launched in China at CNY 1,999 (Approx. Rs. 20,000) for 3GB +64GB and priced CNY 2,299 (Approx. Rs. 22,900) for 4GB+128GB.
According to report, Xiaomi Mi5S will launch in India Q4 2016 priced Approx. Rs 20,000 for 3GB RAM+64GB ROM, Approx. Rs 25,000 for 4GB RAM+128GB ROM. Xiaomi also launched Mi5S Plus at CNY 2,299 (Approx. Rs. 22,900) for 4GB+64GB and priced at CNY 2,599 (Approx. Rs. 26,000) for 6GB+128GB. Xiaomi soon going to launch, Xiaomi Mi5i, Xiaomi Mi5C and Mi5 Plus.
The all new Xiaomi Mi5S supports Dual-SIM with Dual-Mode(Micro SIM), 4G LTE, 3G, NFC, heart rate monitor, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type C and GPS offers you a 5.15”-inch Full HD Pressure sensitive display with resolution (1080×1920 pixels). It will run on most advance Android 6.0 Marshmallow dubbed MIUI version 8.

Using an ultrasonic sensor 100 times/day/year can’t be healthy?! Why would anyone wan’t that?
The capacitive sensor type is patent-protected by the others, Qualcomm have to try with something of their own. There´s four models of MI5:s to be launched, most likely not all with the Ultrasonic Sensor. Qualcomm is a founding partner of Xiaomi and will test their product in a modell or two in a limited edition, most likely Xiaomi will run the same fingerprint sensor as always in the rest.
Qualcomms Sense ID is an integration platform, not only a sensor, which can be confusing. The plattform will be in all new models as it is what Qualcomm can bring to the table as for now. If the sensor doesn´t cut it, Qualcomm can still be a player in the biometric game as long as they power the inside regardless of whose sensor is on the top.
