Chines smartphone giant Xiaomi has launched the successor Xiaomi Redmi 2 as  Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime in Indian market on 13th Aug. 2015 priced at Rs 6,999 in Yellow, Pink, Green, White, and Black colour option as part of ” Make in India”. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime is on sale from Today through Mi online store, Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime is the first made in India smartphone. It will take on Lenovo. Micromax and Intex in budget phone market.The all new Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime supports 4G dual SIM, dual standby, 4G LTE, 3G, GSM/ EDGE, WCDMA, LTE FDD, and TD-LTE comes with same 4.7”-inch HD(720×1280 pixel) Sharp/AUO fully laminated display with 312 PPI with color-temperature adjustment runs on  tweaked version of the Android 4.4 kitkat and 1.2GHz quad-core  Snapdragon 410 processor with Mali T628 GPU with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB  via MicroSd card.
